We have an anchor
“We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.” (NKJV) II Corinthians 4:8-9
Have you been through some struggles or challenges recently? Do you continue to go through challenges, which in your heart, make you despair?
Paul, the apostle through his writings is continually reminding and exhorting us with these awe-inspiring and soothing words. He had not been left out of persecution during his labor for the Lord. Yet he was able to sail through.
Beloved, if we focus on Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), although we go through challenging times, we wouldn’t be forsaken nor destroyed.

Steadfast and sure while the billows roll;

Grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love!
