Life, the uncountable gift of God

Written by Alfred Ofori Agyemang.

“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” (NIV) 2 Cor 9:15

Since God created man from the soil (Genesis 2:7), the soil’s attraction for man has greatly increased. There is now a perpetual war in which humanity is trying so hard to resist the attraction of the flesh (soil). All human wisdom and technologies are failing to help mankind survive this attack because it is only the grace of God that can overcome such a scary dare for our bodies.

On average, 2 people die every second across the globe by whatever means we cannot predict. Some of the means by which people leave the world are so tragic whiles others are peaceful. No matter the means, people are just passing on every second of this life.

As spiritual beings, we must understand that God is the only provider and the sustainer of our souls. Jehovah is in charge of every second of our life and that is the greatest gift that we cannot count. If we will stop complaining and count our blessings, we will have so much reason to praise God that there will be no time to be sad about our needs.

For us to see each day is just an incredible gift of God. Count the number of seconds you’ve survived. No matter the difficulty you went through, God still sustained the soul within you. Let us show gratitude by living for Jehovah as a token for all His blessings. Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise His holy name (Psalm 103:1).
