I will enter His gates
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! ”(ESV) Psalms 100:4
Beloved, this year has witnessed a lot of tragic events which have cost the precious lives of many. Consider the number of lives that have been lost through various forms of sickness including COVID19. Not forgetting the lives that were lost and the disabilities resulting from road carnages. Our hearts and prayers are with families that lost loved ones. On the other hand, we have to be thankful to God for preserving our lives.
Dear beloved, we have a lot to be grateful to God for. Recount the Lord’s wonderful deeds and let us enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts (Psalms 9:1b; 100). In case you recount that this has been a bad year for you, remember it could have been worse. So let us enter His gates full of thanksgiving in our hearts.
