Daily compassions
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”(NIV) Lamentations 3:22-23
It is almost New Year and people have started auditing their lives. People are making resolutions for the imminent year. Sadly, there is this cycle in the lives of many: make resolutions, accomplish it hard at the start of the year, lose focus in the middle, fail by the end of the year and remake them in the following year.
I suggest a solution. Let us make new resolutions daily instead of yearly. To audit oneself and make new resolutions on a daily basis is better because God renews His compassions every morning. Yesterday is long gone and God provides new grace created purposefully for today to help see you through your new resolution. Amen!
