Is Your Seed Worthy Enough?

Written by Christopher Opey Tetteh.

“Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life.” (NIV) Isaiah 38:5

Generally, before someone can be admitted to the tertiary level of education in his proposed field, he must meet the requirements of the institution. Failure to meet the requirements means you are not worthy to be admitted into the institution. This also applies to admissions into the Kingdom of God.

In the Kingdom of God. We are required to give our whole life to God and walk in His path. In doing so, he will give us what we want both in this present life and the eternal life we await. Hezekiah is an example of a man who got what he asked of God (healing and 15 more years of life) (Isaiah 38). God had mercy on him and favoured him because Hezekiah submitted to God and His commands.

May our seed (supplications) be worthy of consideration and also be blessed and favoured by our God all the time!
